One of the most acclaimed bands of the classic rock era, England's BAD COMPANY has put its indelible stamp on rock 'n' roll with a straight-ahead, no-frills musical approach that has resulted in the creation of some of the most timeless rock anthems ever. Led by the incomparable Paul Rodgers (aka "The Voice"), arguably the finest singer in rock 'n' roll, the current band also features from the original lineup drummer extraordinaire Simon Kirke and the one and only Mick Ralphs on guitar. RONNIE HAWKINS ALL-STAR JAM
It's not every day you have a LEGEND perform and certainly not the kind of Legend that is the man they call Rompin' Ronnie "The Hawk" Hawkins! "The Hawk" was a fixture in Grand Bend in the 50's, 60's & 70's and is looking forward to performing with a bunch of artists that can't wait to share the stage with him once again!
Dog’s Nest at Grand Bend
Our plan is to stage a three-day music and camping festival on Friday the 13th commencing in 2010. This event will include a range of music, camping and food/merch vendors, to be held at Grand Bend Motorplex for this year and back to the Port Dover area for the 30th Anniversary Friday the 13th Bike Rally in May 2011.
We look forward to adding to the tourism and economic impact of Grand Bend for August 2010. We would like to thank the Grand Bend Motorplex for their enthusiasm for this event and we look forward to an awesome weekend this August!
We apologize to the Friday the 13th bike rally attendees that were looking forward to spending the weekend with us. You can thank some of the residents of Port Dover for our move. We will be back in May 2011, but please be sure to tell everyone that you’d like us there just the same. You are more than welcome to join us on the shores of Lake Huron which is an amazing short bike ride away. Come party with us without worrying about the neighbours!
